MISSOURI ACADEMY OF AUDIOLOGY
Annual Scope of Practice Conference: October 4, 2024
Our annual Scope of Practice conference is scheduled for Friday, October 4 at The Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks from 8am-5pm (timing may vary slightly, pending final speaker list). Registration opens July 15 and closes September 15. Make this trip a family vacation and get a handful of CEUs at the same time!
Your registration fee will also provide a continental breakfast, buffet lunch, snacks, and drinks throughout the day. We are offering two scholarships to cover one registration and one night of lodging, see below for more information.
Venue and Accommodations.
The Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks is conveniently located on Bagnell Dam Blvd. and features its own hotel with two swimming pools, a fitness center, a restaurant, and a covered, outdoor bar. The hotel part of the resort was renovated in late 2023 and features a fresh, modern appeal to its new decor.

- Rates start at $139.00/night (plus tax) for a standard one king or two queen room with upgraded rooms available too.

Our Speakers.
We are thrilled to announce Douglas Beck, AuD, CCC-A, F-AAA as our keynote speaker. Dr. Beck is a world renown audiologist whose career spans multiple decades and varied interests. Most recently, he retired from full time audiology but continues to write, lecture, and consult to many institutions. To make his appearance even more special, Dr. Beck just so happens to be a founding member of the Missouri Academy of Audiology and served as the first President of our organization.

Scholarship Opportunity.
Are you interested in attending but have financial constraints? The MAA is proud to offer funding opportunities to attend the conference which includes registration and one night of lodging at the venue. Funding is available for one Missouri audiologist AND one Missouri audiology student. Submit your application by June 30. Applicants will be notified by July 15.
